Terms of Engagement
Last updated 5 August 2026. The terms governing an Operational Intelligence Review or Intelligence Brief engagement with Innov8Hub.
1. Definitions
- "Innov8Hub", "we", "us", "our" means Innov8Hub, an Australian business operated by Benjamin Alibuyog.
- "Client", "you", "your" means the business or individual engaging Innov8Hub for a Review or Intelligence Brief.
- "Review" means the Operational Intelligence Review described at /the-review.
- "Intelligence Brief" means the recurring management briefing described at /intelligence-brief, currently in early access.
- "Engagement" means the specific scope of work agreed between Innov8Hub and a Client, whether a Review, an Intelligence Brief, or both.
2. Scope of an Engagement
The specific scope, deliverables and timeline of an Engagement are agreed directly with you before work begins. As a general guide, a Review's typical scope, deliverables and explicit exclusions are described at /the-review, and an Intelligence Brief's typical content and cadence are described at /intelligence-brief — those pages describe what's normally included, not a binding contract in themselves.
An Engagement is a fixed-scope professional-services arrangement, not an ongoing retainer, unless explicitly agreed otherwise (for example, a recurring Intelligence Brief).
3. Fees and payment
- Fees for a Review or Intelligence Brief are quoted directly to you and are not published on this website.
- Fees are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
- Payment terms (timing, instalments, invoicing) are agreed as part of scoping an Engagement.
- Late payment may result in work being paused until outstanding amounts are resolved.
4. Client responsibilities
An Engagement's findings are only as accurate as the access and information provided. You agree to make reasonably available the people, records and access needed to complete the agreed scope, and to provide information in good faith and to the best of your knowledge.
5. Confidentiality
Information shared during an Engagement — interviews, records, financial and job data — is used solely to produce your findings and is treated as confidential. Where anonymised, aggregated insights may in future contribute to broader industry benchmarking, that would only happen with your explicit, separate consent.
6. Ownership and intellectual property
- Innov8Hub retains all rights to its own methodology, frameworks, document templates and any proprietary tools used to deliver an Engagement.
- You retain all rights to your own business data and records. Deliverables prepared specifically for you (findings, roadmaps, briefings) are provided for your own internal use.
- If you give us feedback or suggestions about our methodology or service, we may use it to improve our approach without restriction or compensation to you.
7. Disclaimers
A Review and Intelligence Brief are advisory in nature. Findings, scores, priorities and recommendations are professional judgement based on the evidence available at the time, not a guarantee of any particular business outcome. Nothing provided as part of an Engagement constitutes legal, financial, insurance-claims, or accounting advice, and it should not be relied on as such.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be lawfully excluded.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Innov8Hub's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to an Engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that Engagement in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits or loss of business, even if advised of the possibility.
9. Termination
- Either party may end an Engagement by written notice if the other is in material breach of these Terms and does not remedy it within a reasonable period.
- If an Engagement ends before completion, fees are payable for work genuinely completed up to that point.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, particularly as the Intelligence Brief and other future stages of the service move from early access toward a settled offering. Material changes affecting an active Engagement will be discussed with you directly rather than applied retroactively.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute arising under these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
