Privacy Policy

Last updated 5 August 2026. How Innov8Hub collects, uses and protects your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

1. What information do we collect?

The Personal Information we collect depends on how you interact with this website and with Innov8Hub's Operational Intelligence service.

  • Early Access enquiries — name, business name, role, email address, approximate staff numbers, a description of your operational challenge, and which areas you've expressed interest in.
  • Operational Intelligence Review and Intelligence Brief engagements — information you share directly with Benjamin during interviews, and operational, job or financial records you provide for the purpose of that engagement.
  • Basic technical information any website receives (such as IP address and browser type) as a normal part of serving web pages.

This website does not currently use cookies, analytics, or advertising tracking of any kind.

2. Types of information

The Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act) defines types of information, including Personal Information and Sensitive Information.

Personal Information means information or an opinion about an identified individual or an individual who is reasonably identifiable, whether the information or opinion is true or not, and whether it is recorded in a material form or not.

Sensitive Information is defined in the Privacy Act as including information about things such as an individual's racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, professional or trade union membership, criminal record, or health information. We do not seek to collect Sensitive Information through this website; where it is provided to us in the course of an engagement, it is used only for the primary purpose it was given, a directly related secondary purpose, or with consent or as required by law.

3. How we collect your Personal Information

  • Directly from you, whenever you submit the Early Access form or otherwise contact us.
  • Directly from you during an Operational Intelligence Review or Intelligence Brief engagement — interviews, meetings, and records you choose to share.
  • We do not currently purchase or receive Personal Information about you from third parties.

4. Purpose of collection and how it's handled

  • Early Access form submissions are sent by email, directly to Benjamin, using a third-party transactional email provider (Resend) solely to deliver that message. They are not stored in a database on our end beyond normal email retention.
  • Information shared during a Review or Intelligence Brief engagement is used solely to produce that business's findings, and is treated as confidential. It is not shared with any other client or third party without your consent, other than the service providers strictly needed to deliver the engagement (for example, email delivery).
  • Where anonymised, aggregated insights may in future contribute to broader industry benchmarking, that would only happen with your explicit, separate consent — never by default.
  • We do not sell Personal Information, and do not currently send direct marketing communications. If that changes, any marketing material will include a simple way to opt out.

5. Where your information is stored

  • This website is static and has no database of its own — the public pages store nothing.
  • The private admin area (used by Benjamin to run reviews) stores business and document records in that browser's own local storage (IndexedDB) only. This is not synced to any server, not backed up, and not accessible to anyone without access to that specific device and its Basic Auth credentials.
  • Early Access form submissions pass through Resend (email delivery) to reach Benjamin's inbox — see Resend's own privacy policy for how they handle data in transit.

6. Security, access and correction

We take reasonable steps to protect Personal Information from unauthorised access, misuse, modification or disclosure, appropriate to a small, founder-led business. When we no longer require Personal Information for the purpose it was collected, we take reasonable steps to destroy, anonymise or de-identify it.

The Australian Privacy Principles permit you to obtain access to the Personal Information we hold about you in certain circumstances (Australian Privacy Principle 12), and allow you to request correction of inaccurate Personal Information subject to certain exceptions (Australian Privacy Principle 13). Contact us using the details in Section 9 below to make such a request.

7. Complaint procedure

If you have a complaint about how we handle your Personal Information, contact us using the details in Section 9. All complaints are considered directly by Benjamin Alibuyog. We will acknowledge complaints promptly, seek any further information needed to understand your concern, and work with you to resolve it. If you remain dissatisfied with the outcome, you may refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

8. Overseas transfer

Some service providers we use for basic functions like email delivery may process data on servers located outside Australia as part of their normal operation. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to use providers with appropriate data-handling standards. Your Personal Information will not otherwise be disclosed to recipients outside Australia unless you expressly request it.

9. How to contact us about privacy

If you have any queries, wish to access or correct your Personal Information, or have a complaint about our privacy practices, contact us at hello@innov8hub.io.
